Strengthening our communities

Since our earliest days, we've proudly supported our hometowns in New York and Idaho—developing meaningful relationships with our friends and neighbors. Whether it’s building a state-of-the-art baseball field for little leaguers in the Unadilla Valley, opening a community center in South Edmeston, or providing scholarships for students from farming families across Idaho and New York, our Chobani family is a proud, contributing member of the communities we call home.

Just this past year, we were proud to launch our new Community Impact Fund in collaboration with the Idaho Community Foundation and the Community Foundation for South Central New York. Together, we’re excited to invest in big ideas that expand economic opportunity & promote entrepreneurship within these communities.

Improving childhood nutrition and wellness

Everyone deserves natural, delicious and nutritious food. That's why we work throughout the year to make healthy food more accessible, especially to youth and underserved communities. We’ve recently partnered with Wholesome Wave to provide free fresh fruits, vegetables, and yogurt to families in Chenango County, NY and Twin Falls, ID. We also recently worked with the organization Apple Seeds to help build a new teaching kitchen in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as funded the construction of a new greenhouse at Sherburne-Earlville Central School in New York.

Additionally, we proudly supported the New York Botanical Garden’s Edible Academy project, helping to double the number of underserved youth in the Greater NYC area who benefit from access to fresh produce and education on the benefits of nutritious foods through its program.

We’ve also been a strong supporter of Save the Children, donating Chobani products to help feed thousands of toddlers in Head Start programs in more than a dozen communities across Arkansas and Louisiana. Additionally, we provide critical funding for 26 Healthy Choices after-school programs in communities in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Helping those in need

At Chobani, we believe that business can be a force of good. Our first-of-its-kind Hero Batch was developed by Chobani veterans to show our guiding mission of better food for more people extends far beyond our product; through a special partnership with Operation Homefront, we’re able to uphold our commitment to universal wellness and give back to America's military families.

Operation Homefront works to build strong, stable, and secure military families that can thrive. Together, we've launched our new Hero Batch with a goal of raising up to $1 million for military families in need.

We’ve also formed a partnership with the American Red Cross’ Disaster Operations Coordination Center to provide products to the hardworking staff and volunteers whenever it's activated for major disasters in the U.S.
