Farmers are part of our family. And sometimes families need support. Using food as a force for good, we created Farmer Batch Milk & Cookies in partnership with American Farmland Trust to provide resources and allocate microgrants up to $10,000 to farmers. This will aid dairy farmers with improving their farm business, transfer and succession planning, permanently protecting their land, and finally, generating renewable energy and adopting climate-smart farming practices.
American Farmland Trust (AFT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is the only national organization dedicated to saving the land that sustains us by protecting farmland, promoting sound farming practices, and keeping farmers on the land. With a 38-year history, AFT has helped save more than 6.5 million acres of farm and ranch land and contributed to conservation improvements on millions more.
